What information does the online trader have to provide?

• Their full business name
• Their Geographical Address
• Contact details which must include and email address
• Details of any trade association membership
• Their professional qualifications (mainly for services)
• Their VAT number
• The sellers identity and, if advance payment is required their address.
• A description of the main characteristics of the goods or services
• The price, including any taxes and delivery costs.
• The arrangements for payment
• The delivery arrangements ( or performance of a service)
• The right to cancel the order
• The cost of using the distance communication method if it is more than standard rate
• How long the price or offer remains valid.
• In the case of an ongoing contract for the supply of good or services its minimum duration.
