“Motor Trade Partnership" IS ON THE ROAD

It has been a over a year since the launch of the West Yorkshire Trading Standards Service newest initiative the, “Motor Trade Partnership” but a large number of consumers are still unaware of the scheme and the benefits it holds for them.

Customer satisfaction is at the forefront of the initiative and each member agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions of the Partnership and treat consumers in a fair and honest fashion, they also are compelled to comply with the spirit and letter of the law.

The Partnership has already seen a dramatic 60% decrease in complaints against members, and where an issue does arise it is dealt with quickly and with minimum distress to the consumer.

There is however a desperate need to educate the consumers on how to make an informed purchase, knowing what questions to ask and what to look for.  The Service is committed to ensuring that consumers get the best deal and therefore are holding road shows at the following venues.
