NORTHUMBERLAND
County Council Trading Standards Officers are warning both retailers and the
public about the safety of a range of Italian leather furniture made under the
name of Artigiani Fiorentini.
The
suites of furniture which have been tested and been found to fail legal
flammability requirements are the following models - Martina,
Urano and Irma. The furniture, consisting of a range of 40 different models,
was originally supplied in the UK
in 2000 and 2001 to mainly small independent retailers.
Mick King, County Trading Standards Officer, is urging any retailer who has for sale any furniture by this manufacturer to stop selling immediately and contact their local Trading Standards Office for further advice, and
any
member of the public who has bought such furniture should immediately contact their supplier.
