The Motor Trade Partnership welcomes its latest members

West Yorkshire Trading Standards Service is delighted to welcome on board its latest members to its successful Motor Trade Partnership, namely

Harewood Motor Company, Wellington Street, Leeds & Tate Accident Repair Centre, Balm Road, Hunslet, Leeds

Both have signed up to the stringent terms and conditions set by West Yorkshire Trading Standards Service.

The Partnership was launched after complaints against the motor industry accounted for 19% of all complaints received by the Service.

The Partnership now boasts over 100 members, who have all agreed to abide by the terms and conditions of membership, including: -

Councillor Clarke Chairman of West Yorkshire Joint Services said “These are just a few of the benefits to consumers of choosing a Partnership Member. The scheme is aimed at ensuring that consumer complaints are handled swiftly and with least distress to the consumer. It is imperative that the consumers of West Yorkshire are aware of the Partnership and know what safeguards if offer them. I would encourage consumers to “Look for the logo” when choosing a company to do business with.

The presentation at Tate Accident Repair Centre will take place on Friday 1st August 2003 at 10.30am.

Richard Bramley, Divisional Manager West Yorkshire Joint Services, will make the presentations.
